Thank you to Northern Arizona Volunteer Medical Corp (NAVMC)!
NAVMC is an outstanding community organization and a significant Friends of Camp Colton partner. A Flagstaff non-profit, NAVMC works to transform the lives of kids globally and locally. Each season, they fund the full-time (overnight) nurse position at Camp. Having a nurse on-site makes Camp safer and more accessible for all students, including those with diverse medical conditions and we are incredibly appreciative of their generous support.
Locally, NAVMC also leads blood drives and organizes community resources for the Flagstaff Family Food Center and the Cinder Hillbillies 4H Club. Globally, this dedicated group of volunteers participates in projects in Bolivia and Haiti focused around medical care, education, and housing. As a Camp Colton supporter, we encourage you to get involved with NAVMC’s biggest fundraiser of the year entitled “Swinging’ Fore Kids” on Saturday, September 16 as either a volunteer or participant. Please contact Ari Wilder for more information.
