Camp Colton is designed as a classroom experience, where all students within a class attend and are accompanied by their classroom teacher/s. While scholarship funding will be based upon the economic need of individual students, the grant award will offset the classroom’s overall tuition fee.

Based on enrollment numbers and the Camp’s teaching model, classes from different schools may be grouped together for operational and educational purposes. Camp follows a Monday-Thursday schedule. Please contact the Friends of Camp Colton for available weeks and indicate the dates you would like to attend Camp in order of preference.

To offset our total class tuition fee, we are requesting a scholarship of:
Any awarded scholarship funds will be transferred directly to FUSD-Camp Colton and applied to the account of the participating school. One month prior to attending Camp Colton, the participating school will pay the balance of the program fee in full and provide a certificate of liability insurance ($2,000,000 per occurrence which names Flagstaff Unified School District as additional insured) to the Flagstaff Unified School District. The Arizona School Risk Retention Trust offers insurance policies for schools/school districts. Visit www.the-trust.org for more information or contact them at 800.266.4911.
